Əmək Məcəlləsinin 91 maddənin 2 bəndinə əsasən yaşyarımadək uşağı olan qadınlar və 3 yaşınadək uşağını təkbaşına böyüdən valideynlər üçün qısaldılmış iş vaxtı həftə ərzində 36 saatdan artıq olmamalıdı.

Əgər 5 günlük iş vaxtında işçilər 8 saat işləyirsə bu həftəyə edir 40 saat (8×5) sualda qeyd olunan uşağı olan qadın 36 saatdan artıq işləməməlidi. Adi işçi 18:00-da işdən çıxırsa, bu çıxmalıdı 17:12-də.

Burda bir məqam var. Uşağı ana atasız yəni tək böyüdürsə məqamı əsasdır. Bütöv ailədirsə o halda güzəşt tətbiq olunmur. Yarımçıq ailədirsə, bəli o halda 17:12 çıxacaq.
